Timespect Terms of Service

Effective date: August 3, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Timespect, an application developed and operated by Systhetics Collective, including its authenticity inspection, valuation, report-generation, and related services. By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using Timespect, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Timespect provides evidence-based inspections of luxury timepieces using information and materials submitted by the user. Depending on the selected service, a report may examine authenticity indicators, observable condition, acoustic information, supporting documents, reference specifications, and relevant market data.

Timespect is provided as a Research Preview. Its inspection methods, evaluation systems, report formats, supported timepieces, and available features may continue to develop and change.

Inspection Reports

Timespect reports are preliminary analytical opinions based on the evidence available at the time of inspection. They do not involve physical possession, disassembly, internal examination, laboratory testing, or direct examination by a watchmaker unless expressly stated.

An authenticity report is not a certification or guarantee that a timepiece is authentic, original, unmodified, legally owned, or free from undisclosed replacement parts.

A valuation report is not a certified appraisal, insurance valuation, financial recommendation, purchase recommendation, or guarantee of a sale price. Market value may change and may be affected by factors that are not visible or disclosed during the inspection.

Reports should be used as supporting information rather than as the sole basis for a purchase, sale, insurance decision, legal dispute, or other significant transaction. Where greater certainty is required, you should arrange an in-person inspection by an appropriately qualified professional.

Timespect is not affiliated with or endorsed by any watch manufacturer, dealer, marketplace, auction house, or authentication organisation unless expressly stated.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information and clear, relevant evidence. You must have the right or permission to submit all photographs, recordings, documents, and other materials uploaded through your account.

You must not submit unlawful material, information obtained without authorisation, or documents containing unnecessary personal information belonging to another person.

The quality and completeness of a report depend on the submitted evidence. Missing, unclear, misleading, or inaccurate information may reduce confidence, produce inconclusive findings, or affect the estimated value.

Accounts

You are responsible for protecting access to your device, Apple Account, and Timespect account. You must not share, transfer, sell, or misuse your account.

Timespect may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, purchase abuse, unauthorised access, unlawful activity, interference with the service, or a serious violation of these Terms.

Inspection Credits and In-App Purchases

Inspection credits are consumable digital items purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Prices, taxes, billing, and payment processing are managed by Apple and may vary by country or region.

Purchased credits do not expire. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may not be transferred, resold, or used outside Timespect.

The required credit is consumed only when a requested report is successfully generated and made available to your account. When a technical failure prevents successful report generation, the affected credit will be returned automatically to your Timespect credit balance.

Returning a credit to your balance is not a monetary refund. Requests for refunds of App Store payments are handled by Apple under its applicable purchase and refund policies. Where Apple reverses or refunds a purchase, Timespect may remove the corresponding unused credits from your balance.

A completed report is considered successfully generated even where its findings are uncertain, inconclusive, or assigned a lower confidence level because of limited or conflicting evidence. The quality or conclusion of a completed report does not by itself constitute a technical failure.

Availability and Changes

Timespect may update, modify, limit, replace, or discontinue features as the Research Preview develops. The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical faults, network conditions, market-data availability, or circumstances outside Timespect’s reasonable control.

Timespect does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, support for every timepiece, or that every submitted inspection will produce a definitive conclusion.

Intellectual Property

The Timespect name, interface, inspection framework, report design, software, text, graphics, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Systhetics Collective and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You retain ownership of materials you submit. You grant Timespect a limited permission to process, reproduce, and store those materials only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, generate and provide reports, maintain your account, and meet security or legal requirements.

You may use reports generated for your account for personal or legitimate commercial purposes. You may not misrepresent, alter, reproduce, or present a report in a manner that falsely suggests certification, endorsement, or a conclusion different from the report originally generated.

Prohibited Use

You may not use Timespect to commit fraud, misrepresent a timepiece, conceal known defects, create misleading listings, violate another person’s rights, interfere with the service, bypass purchasing systems, reverse engineer the app, automate abusive requests, or attempt to obtain unauthorised access to accounts or systems.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Timespect is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely accurate, or suitable for a particular transaction or purpose.

Observable consistency does not prove authenticity, and the absence of an identified irregularity does not mean that no irregularity exists.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Timespect will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or commercial losses arising from reliance on a report, changes in market value, a purchase or sale decision, undisclosed defects, counterfeit or modified components, lost profits, or unavailable service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Termination and Account Deletion

You may stop using Timespect or delete your account at any time. Account deletion may permanently remove reports, inspection materials, account records, and unused credit balances.

Timespect may terminate or restrict access where reasonably necessary because of fraud, unlawful use, serious misuse, security risk, or repeated violation of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be revised as Timespect and its inspection process develop. Updated Terms will be made available within the app, together with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Apple App Store

Your licence to use the Timespect app may also be subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is responsible for its App Store, payment, and refund processes but is not responsible for Timespect inspection reports or their conclusions.
