Timespect Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 3, 2026

Timespect is developed and operated by Systhetics Collective. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the Timespect app, why it is needed, and how it is handled.

Information We Process

When you create an account using Sign in with Apple, Timespect receives an account identifier and, depending on your choices, your name or email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your personal email address.

To perform an inspection, you may submit information about a timepiece, high-resolution photographs, acoustic recordings, and scans of documents such as warranty cards or receipts. These materials may contain serial numbers, reference numbers, purchase information, retailer details, names, or other information visible within the submitted evidence.

Timespect may also process your credit balance, report history, transaction identifiers, report-generation status, and limited technical information required to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

Timespect does not include independent advertising, tracking, or behavioural analytics systems. Apple may process information related to Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, diagnostics, and device services under Apple’s own privacy practices.

How Information Is Used

Information is used only as reasonably necessary to:

  • create and manage your account;
  • inspect submitted evidence and generate requested reports;
  • maintain purchased credit balances and transaction records;
  • deliver, store, and display completed reports;
  • detect misuse, protect accounts, and maintain service security;
  • investigate technical failures and return credits where appropriate;
  • respond to support, privacy, or account-deletion requests; and
  • comply with legal obligations where required.

Timespect does not sell, rent, or use inspection materials for advertising or unrelated profiling. Inspection information is not publicly disclosed or provided to third parties for their independent use.

Technical infrastructure used on behalf of Timespect may handle information only where necessary to operate the service and must protect it consistently with this Privacy Policy.

Camera, Photos, Microphone, and Documents

Timespect accesses your camera, photo library, microphone, or selected files only after you choose to use the relevant feature and grant the required permission.

Microphone access is used to capture acoustic information from a timepiece during an inspection. Timespect does not continuously record audio or access the microphone when an acoustic scan has not been initiated.

You should avoid submitting unnecessary personal information and may redact unrelated information from receipts, warranty documents, or other records before uploading them.

Storage and Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account and report history, preserve credit and transaction records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

Inspection materials and generated reports may remain associated with your account so they can be accessed through the app. Information may be removed earlier when you delete an inspection, report, or account where those options are available.

Some limited transaction, security, or operational records may be retained after account deletion where reasonably required to prevent fraud, process purchase reversals, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.

Account and Data Deletion

You may initiate deletion of your account and associated personal information through the account settings within the app. You may also contact Timespect through the support option in the app regarding a privacy or deletion request.

Account deletion is permanent and may remove your reports, submitted inspection materials, account information, and remaining credit balance. Information that must be retained for legal, security, or transaction-related purposes may be kept only for the required period.

Deleting your Timespect account may not automatically remove information independently retained by Apple. Sign in with Apple access can also be managed through your Apple Account settings.

Data Security

Timespect uses reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. However, no digital transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple Account and for notifying Timespect if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Children’s Privacy

Timespect is not intended for use by children. Timespect does not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorisation. Where such information is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to remove it.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the app, inspection process, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be made available within the app, and the effective date will be revised. Continued use of Timespect after an update means the revised policy applies to your future use of the service.
