Systhetics (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Lilo Radio Player mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.
1. What Lilo Radio Is
Lilo Radio Player is a radio stream aggregator and directory client, similar to how a web browser connects you to websites, but specialized for radio stations.
- We do not broadcast radio content. We are not a radio station or broadcaster.
- We do not host or store audio streams. All radio content is hosted by independent third-party radio stations.
- We provide directory access only. The App queries the public Radio Browser API to discover publicly available internet radio station URLs.
- Direct connections. When you play a station, your device connects directly to that station’s stream server. We do not route, intercept, or process the audio.
2. Information We Collect
We are committed to your privacy. We do not collect, store, share, or sell any personally identifiable information (PII).
2.1 Information We Do NOT Collect
- No user accounts or registration required.
- No email addresses, names, or contact information.
- No listening history stored on our servers.
- No location tracking.
- No advertising identifiers.
- No behavioral tracking or analytics.
2.2 Local Device Storage Only
The App may store preferences and favorites locally on your device only. This data:
- Never leaves your device.
- Is not backed up to our servers (we have no servers for user data).
- Can be deleted by uninstalling the App.
3. Third-Party Services and Technical Connections
When you use Lilo Radio, your device may connect to third-party services. These connections are direct and necessary for the App to function:
3.1 Radio Stations
- When you play a station, your device connects directly to that station’s streaming server.
- The radio station may collect technical data (such as your IP address) as required for stream delivery.
- Each station operates under its own privacy policy and terms.
- We do not control or have access to data collected by radio stations.
3.2 Radio Browser API
- Used to discover publicly available radio station URLs.
- This is a public directory service (radio-browser.info).
- May receive standard technical data required for API requests.
3.3 Visual Content APIs
- Giphy API: Used for GIF content, subject to Giphy’s Privacy Policy.
- Tenor API: Used for GIF content, subject to Tenor’s Privacy Policy.
- These services may receive technical data necessary for content delivery.
4. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is designed to function without collecting PII from any user, regardless of age.
5. Data Security
Since we do not collect or store user data on our servers, there is no centralized user data to secure. All user preferences are stored locally on your device and protected by your device’s security measures.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Uninstall: You can stop using the App and uninstall it at any time, which will remove all locally stored data.
- Station selection: You have complete control over which stations you choose to listen to.
- No tracking opt-out needed: Since we don’t track you, there’s nothing to opt out of.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
8. International Users
The App is available globally. When you connect to radio stations, you are subject to the laws and regulations applicable to both your location and the station’s location.
